What’s Trending: Growth for Broadband

BroadbandNOW says 42 million Americans have no access to broadband, while many others have very limited access. That’s a huge opportunity for the 3,000 internet service providers (ISPs) operating in the U.S. Building out the infrastructure safely and responsibly requires considerable planning and due diligence. InSIGHTS: Know your BEAD Plans

So far, 13 states and territories have submitted 5-year action plans required to access Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program funds. That leaves 43 who haven’t. Getting familiar with these proposals helps Internet Service Providers plan future work, prioritize target projects and forecast potential growth.
