Job Description

Join our vibrant team as a Benefits Analyst and play a key role in shaping our Total Rewards strategy. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, you will ensure the smooth and effective administration of employee benefits with a focus on delivering exceptional service. The analyst will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and will make recommendations for improvements to benefit programs based on industry trends and best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of benefit plans, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability insurance, and other related benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all team member benefit inquiries, coordinate monthly benefit eligibility, and manage open enrollment and life event processing.
  • Oversee and audit 401(k) deferrals and loan deductions, carrier invoice billing, and ensure compliance with all related regulations.
  • Support the Total Rewards Team with daily plan administration, ongoing audits, and weekly vendor EDI processes.
  • Organize and facilitate benefits enrollment sessions using UKGPro, and maintain accurate and audited records for annual 1094/1095-C Forms.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of and ensure adherence to all State, PFML, FMLA, and other relevant benefits regulations.
  • Develop and maintain benefit policies and procedures, and ensure they are communicated effectively to employees.
  • Collaborate with HR team to educate and promote employee engagement in benefit programs.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of employee benefit presentations, communications, and training materials.
  • Monitor and analyze benefit plan costs and utilization and make recommendations for cost containment strategies.
  • Stay up to date on benefit plan regulations and legislation, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of employee benefit regulations, including COBRA, FMLA, and state-specific laws.
  • 3+ years of experience in employee benefits coordination, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills, thriving in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, preferably UKG, along with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with benefit plan design, implementation, and administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.

The salary range for this position is $70K – $80K. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
