AWP Joins the Cause

We look for ways outside the work zone to increase our customers’ safety. AWP recently helped sponsor the 2018 Georgia Power Golf Tournament benefiting the American Heart Association. The American Heart Association works hard to help create a world free of heart disease and strokes. The golf tournament raised funds to aid research for new treatments and provide programs and services for survivors and their families, and ultimately help lower people’s risk. We were honored to be a part of this event and join fellow professionals from various organizations in an effort to raise awareness of the magnitude of heart disease and strokes.

A Healthy Heart Equals Safer RoadS

In correlation to supporting the American Heart Association’s mission, our efforts will hopefully help decrease unsafe work zones. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Heart attacks and strokes can happen anywhere at any time. Heart attacks are a common cause of fatal accidents, a serious safety issue for other drivers and work zone workers. Our mission is to protect people, business and time. We take numerous measures to remain faithful to our commitment to safety. AWP is elated to reach beyond the scope of business and help protect those in danger of heart disease and strokes by supporting the AHA.
