Press Releases, October 26, 2015

AWP, Inc. is pleased to announce its most recent company expansion. As of October 19, 2015, AWP offers daily traffic control operations from its newest facility located at 1601 Rutherford Lane in Austin, Texas. The Austin facility will provide traffic services and availability to many of AWP’s current client base as well as new customers in need of comprehensive, safety-driven, traffic control management and services.

Austin is the first of several Texas locations in AWP’s expansion plans. AWP Austin has hired 10 new employees and anticipates adding 40 or more over the next 12-18 months. Other intended locations for facility openings include El Paso, San Antonio, Houston, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

“AWP’s mission is to make roads safer, and we are working hard to do so, nationwide,” says AWP President and CEO, John Sypek. “We know that the roads our clients are working on are safer with AWP there. We want to offer them the same level of protection and service in the West and Southwest that we do in the Eastern U.S.”

Since 1993, AWP has been providing traffic control management services to major utility companies, municipalities, contractors, and special events. Our more than 50 locations provide daily operations that span over 17 states. Known as America’s Traffic Control leader, AWP is a comprehensive, one-stop traffic control organization, providing around the clock service every day of the year.
